Romans 4:19-21

Romans 4:19–21 (ESV): "19 He did not weaken in faith when he considered his own body, which was as good as dead (since he was about a hundred years old), or when he considered the barrenness of Sarah's womb. 20 No unbelief made him waver concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong in his faith as he gave glory to God, 21 fully convinced that God was able to do what he had promised."

God is the God of hope. He operates against all odds making the impossible possible. He may not operate in our timeframe but He keeps His promises and makes miracles happen to do so. Never lose sight of who He is!

Abraham was seventy-five years old when God promised him a child. His wife was barren and also beyond the age of children. Sarah laughed when she heard God promise a child but Abraham believed God. Twenty-five years later they had Issac! Paul points us to the unwavering faith of Abraham here. He never once counted God out. He truly is the father of faith.

What circumstance has you doubting God today? Is there anything too hard for Him? We lose hope when we get our eyes on the waves and off the Lord. The key to maintaining faith is steadfastness. Never let your thoughts wander down uncertainty lane. God will do what He said thus take every thought captive! Maintain hope in God by keeping your eyes on Him and your mind on His Word. Meditate on it day and night. If you want Abraham-like faith you must be willing to walk as he did. He trusted God at all times you must do the same, amen?

Father, we thank You for proving Your faithfulness over and over again to us. Remove any doubt in our hearts and help us to walk in complete trust always we pray in Jesus' name, amen.
