Mark 8:17-19

Mark 8:17–19 (ESV): 17 And Jesus, aware of this, said to them, "Why are you discussing the fact that you have no bread? Do you not yet perceive or understand? Are your hearts hardened? 18 Having eyes do you not see, and having ears do you not hear? And do you not remember? 19 When I broke the five loaves for the five thousand, how many baskets full of broken pieces did you take up?"

How is it that we can see Jesus do miraculous things and yet struggle to believe He can do the very same thing for us? Don't doubt the Lord. He is the way maker and miracle worker who can accomplish all things. Trust Him and believe for the impossible.

Jesus went through the region of Tyre and Sidon to the Sea of Galilee performing all kinds of miracles including feeding four thousand with seven loaves and a few fish. As He and His disciples were on their way in the boat they forgot the bread and we're concerned about it. Jesus knowing what they were talking about said, "Why are you discussing the fact that you have no bread? Do you not yet perceive or understand? Are your hearts hardened?" They had seen Jesus provide in this way twice before but we're not trusting Him to do the same for them.

Pay attention to the things you have seen Jesus do in the lives of others. It is supposed to build faith in you. Don't fret about forgetting the bread, He can provide all that you need. When you encounter the impossible look up and believe in Jesus. He is able. Trust Him and don't doubt, amen?

Father, we thank You for allowing us to see Your mighty hand move miraculously. Help us to trust in Your abilities when we are in need. You have never let us down even when You don't provide the way we ask. Keep our hearts believing for the impossible we pray in Jesus' name, amen.
