Mark 5:18-19

Mark 5:18–19 (ESV): 18 As he was getting into the boat, the man who had been possessed with demons begged him that he might be with him. 19 And he did not permit him but said to him, "Go home to your friends and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you."

Telling others what Jesus has done for you is the hope this world needs. When people learn of the great things He has done in your life they will become encouraged and perhaps put their trust in Jesus. Go and tell the world what He has done!

After Jesus crossed the sea of Galilee He was immediately met by a demon-possessed man. The legion within him begged Jesus not to send them out of the country. Jesus sent them into the herd of pigs nearby and they ran the herd into the sea and drown them. The man that was possessed was clothed and found in his right mind. As Jesus was departing he asked Jesus to take him with but Jesus said that he needed to go tell all his friends what Jesus had done.

An important part of becoming a Christian is sharing your conversion story. Everyone that is a true Christian has one. No matter how radical or ordinary it might be, all conversion stories are powerful because salvation is a miracle. Don't shy away from sharing how Jesus changed your life and what He is currently doing. Someone needs to hear it. Go and tell the world of the wonderful things He has done, amen?

Father, thank You that we have a story to share. Help us to never cease to speak of the miraculous things You have done. Put someone in our path today who needs hope we pray in Jesus' name, amen.
