Mark 11:3-6

Mark 11:3–6 (ESV): "3 If anyone says to you, 'Why are you doing this?' say, 'The Lord has need of it and will send it back here immediately.' " 4 And they went away and found a colt tied at a door outside in the street, and they untied it. 5 And some of those standing there said to them, "What are you doing, untying the colt?" 6 And they told them what Jesus had said, and they let them go."

How do you know Jesus is Lord of all in your life? When He asks to borrow something from you (that belongs to Him anyway) and you lend it to Him. Hold nothing back from the Lord!

As Jesus was preparing for His Triumphal Entry He sent His disciples ahead to secure a ride for Him. It would need to be the foal of a donkey upon which no one has sat according to Zechariah 9:9. Jesus said one would be waiting for them. If anyone asked them what they were doing they were to just say, "the Lord has need of it and will send it back here immediately." They did as He directed them and when asked what they were doing when untying the foal they said what Jesus told them to say and they let them go.

You know Jesus is Lord of everything when you catch strangers taking your car and you let them take it because they say, "The Lord has need of it." What would you withhold from Jesus if He asked of it? He doesn't ask to be Lord of some, but Lord of all. Abraham was willing to give up Issac. We are to hold nothing back from the Lord. Check your heart today. If there is anything you are willing to withhold surrender it to Him today and ask Him to be Lord of all, amen?

Father, thank You for giving us all that we have. Help us to withhold nothing from You. We give all that You have given us including ourselves back to You now in Jesus' name, amen.
