Luke 4:14-15

Luke 4:14–15 (ESV): "14 And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit to Galilee, and a report about him went out through all the surrounding country. 15 And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified by all."

It's been said that we can do life one of two ways, the easy way or the hard way. Those who believe in Jesus now choose the easy way. Those who reject Him will bow their knee the hard way! Jesus will one day get glory from every living soul regardless of how they feel about Him.

After Jesus was tested in the wilderness He began His three-year ministry revealing to the world through His works that He was the Messiah. He was empowered by the Spirit of God to do miraculous things just as was prophesied in Isaiah 11:1–2 (ESV):  "There shall come forth a shoot from the stump of Jesse, and a branch from his roots shall bear fruit. 2  And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord." He was glorified by all in those days!

Did you know that you will one day bow before your King and Maker? It won't matter in that day how you feel about Jesus for His presence alone will demand worship. May we choose the easy way and live at His feet now that we might dwell in His presence forever. As Paul said, "If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God (Col 3:1)." Make much of Jesus now for He will one day make much of you, amen?

Father, thank You for allowing us to know and love You in this life! May we bring You much glory until we see you face to face. Then we will willingly bow at your feet in awe of who You are and for all that You have done. May we live daily on our knees for One who gave it all we pray in Jesus name, Amen and Amen!
