Luke 21:12-13

Luke 21:12–13 (ESV): "12 But before all this they will lay their hands on you and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and prisons, and you will be brought before kings and governors for my name's sake. 13 This will be your opportunity to bear witness."

It's no secret the world despises Jesus. This is the result of a satanic agenda that has been plaguing our world from day one. However, we fear not for God is with us. He will use this to draw people to Himself as has been said, "the blood of the martyrs is the seed of the church."

"When will the end come," his disciples asked. Jesus replied, "you will see many false Christs come and hear of wars and tumults, do not be terrified, for these things must first take place, but the end will not be at once. Nation will rise against nation, and there will be earthquakes, famines, and pestilences. But before this, they will lay hands on you and persecute you. Do not fear this for it will be an opportunity for you to share the Gospel with those you otherwise couldn't."

The heart of God for this world is salvation. The heart of His people should also be salvation. When is the last time you wept over the lost state of the people in our world? You may have given up on them but God never will! When He allows you to be persecuted listen intently for the Spirit for He will use this moment to share the deep love God has for His enemies. Be usable in all situations! Amen?

Father, thank You for being so loving to us. You have never once given up on us and You never will. Fill us with hope for the lost. Let us never give up on delivering the Good News to those who are destined for eternal damnation. We are available to be used however You see fit in Jesus' name, amen.
