Luke 17:26-27

Luke 17:26–27 (ESV): "26 Just as it was in the days of Noah, so will it be in the days of the Son of Man. 27 They were eating and drinking and marrying and being given in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all."

Everyone is talking about the Metaverse these days. It's going to give man the ability to exist in a fantasy world through VR are AI like never before. It's all a ploy of distraction. This is how it was in the days of Noah when he preached the coming of judgment and this is how it will be when the Son of Man returns to earth!

Man loves to be distracted from the realities of life. The devil has mascaraed distractions in the form of all kinds of entertainment. If people are distracted they have no time to consider the reality of death or the Second Coming of Christ. That's the ploy! In the days of Noah people were living in a fantasy world of eating, drinking, and being merry. They were distracted from the news of the impending judgment that Noah was warning them about. Jesus said this is how it would be when He returns.

Do you prefer to live in a fantasy world rather than reality Christian? Are you paying attention to the signs of the times? God uses these things to keep us centered on living for the Lord and sharing the Good News. Don't get distracted by the things of this world. Stay vigilant and ready. Never allow the enemy to sidetrack you. Jesus is coming soon. May we be found focused and working when He comes to get His Church. Amen?

Father, we thank You for never being distracted by the things in heaven or on earth. You are always on point working to accomplish Your plan. May we be the same. Keep our hearts centered in You. Help us to live with our eyes fixed on You looking for Your return we pray in Jesus' name, amen.
