Lamentations 3:21-23

Lamentations 3:21–23 (ESV): "21  But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope: 22  The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; 23  they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness."

Life is up and down but one thing remains the same, God and His love and mercy for us. He will never change! He is faithful to us always and our source of hope in all things!

In chapter 3 of Lamentations, the writer expresses his anguish and angst due to the Babylonian captivity. He has been fully rejected by his own and while thinking of this he is reminded of the faithfulness of God. He knows God's love never ceases and His mercies never come to an end. They are there when he lays his head down at night and when he arises for God is faithful.

Are you feel all alone in this world today? Does it seem like no one cares? Have your circumstances become so overwhelming that you can barely breathe? In moments like this, when we feel the weight of the world upon our shoulders, we need to remember that God is there for us. He is constant, His love never fails. He gives us new mercies daily to give us endurance and strength for our circumstances. Remember the Lord and His intentions for you today. You might feel alone but you are not. Let the constancy of God's love and mercies cover you. He is faithful, amen?

Father, we thank You for reminding us of the many things we already know but fail to focus on at times. You are forever faithful, Your love never ceases, nor do your mercies ever come to an end. We can bank on You being there for us always. You are our hope in hard times, may we never forget it. Help us to keep our eyes on You always we pray in Jesus' name, amen.
