Joel 2:32

Joel 2:32 (ESV): "32 And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be those who escape, as the Lord has said, and among the survivors shall be those whom the Lord calls."

There is only one way to heaven. There is only one way to receive the King of glory. One must call upon the name of the Lord. Jesus is the name and He is the one we call upon in repentance and absolute trust. Jesus, save me! He will certainly do it for that is why He has come.

The promise of the New Covenant came through the prophet Joel nearly nine hundred years before it was instituted. The promise given was for a name that anyone could call upon for salvation. You would not have to convert to Judaism to receive salvation. One must call upon the name above all names, the name of Jesus.

There is no greater pleasure than to speak out the name of Jesus for reconciliation. There is no greater pleasure than to shout the name of Jesus for victory over sin and death. The name of Jesus is who we call upon and continue to call upon all the days of our lives. Don't utter another name if you desire rescue. It can only be found in one, Jesus.

Father, thank You for giving us your Son to call upon for all things. Keep us from trusting in no other name we pray in Jesus' name, amen, and amen!
