Isaiah 61:10

Isaiah 61:10 (ESV): "10  I will greatly rejoice in the Lord; my soul shall exult in my God, for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation; he has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself like a priest with a beautiful headdress, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels."

Rejoice all you people who have been clothed with salvation. God has put on you the robe of righteousness and clothed you with the garments of redemption. Rejoice, and again I say rejoice.

We live in a world that is ever so ungrateful. It doesn't matter what is done someone complains. That can spill over into our walk with the Lord. God reminds the people of Judah that the work that He does is worth rejoicing over for it brings salvation and righteousness to all who believe. Those who choose to receive it should be forever grateful for as Jesus said, "it is finished."

If you are a believer today be grateful! Your world might not be perfect but there is always something to be thankful for. Give God some praise no matter what you face. He is praiseworthy in every situation and circumstance that we find ourselves. Thank Him for the wonderful work of salvation and for forgiving your sins and covering you with the robe of righteousness that is found in His Son!

Father, we rejoice in You today. Thank You for loving us, redeeming us, and being with us always. Let us not forget what You have done and are doing. You are working all things together for the good of those who love you. Let us just rejoice and offer praise to the One and Only King of our hearts. In Jesus' name, we pray, amen.
