Isaiah 12:2

Isaiah 12:2 (ESV): "2  "Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the Lord God is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation."

The greatest personal declaration a person can make is that the Lord God has become their salvation. There is no other name by which we can be saved except the name of Jesus. Rejoice and proclaim it with great joy!

Isaiah declares a day and age in which the Lord will draw the remnant of Israel back to Himself once again. The first wave took place in 1948 when Israel became a nation, the second wave will come in the Millennial Kingdom when Jesus is ruling and reigning physically on the throne in Jerusalem. At that time the people will be declaring the words above praising God for being their Savior and for bringing strength and salvation to Israel once again.

Christians everywhere can sing this song today for we already recognize Jesus as our Lord and Savior. He already is our God and salvation and He has given us the strength to endure to the end! Sing loudly today Christian for Christ has come and is coming! We long for His return but we rest in His finished work on Calvary knowing that when He appears we will be with Him forever and ever, amen! Rejoice in the Lord today. Remember all that He has done and sing of His glorious grace.

Father, we praise You and thank You for giving us salvation through Your Son Jesus Christ. Thank You for drawing our stubborn hearts to Yourself. Remind us of the wonder of our salvation and put that song on our hearts. May we sing with great joy for what you've done in Jesus' name, amen!
