Haggai 1:12

Haggai 1:12 (ESV): "12 Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, with all the remnant of the people, obeyed the voice of the Lord their God, and the words of Haggai the prophet, as the Lord their God had sent him."

Have you ever said to yourself, "how can I make a difference, I'm only one person?" The Bible shows us over and over again that one person sent by God can move a nation. Don't let your inabilities stop you from being an influencer. Go in the anointing of the Spirit and watch what God does!

Haggai was sent by God to interrupt the status quo. The people of Judah had failed to follow God's instructions when they returned. They were to rebuild the Temple as a priority. It had been eighteen years and very little had happened. So God sent Haggai to stir the people and it worked. God stirred the leaders, then the leaders stirred the people. The obedience of Haggai was used to move the entire nation back to the fear of the Lord.

So, what can God do with little ole you? More than you can imagine. God is the stirrer of all hearts but He uses man to do so through His Spirit. It's Him doing the work through you so your inabilities don't matter. Don't talk yourself out of God being able to use you. Walk by faith and let the Lord use you. Beautiful are the feet who preach the Good News (Rom 10:15)...go in His power, amen?

Father, thank You for filling us with purpose and power. We have been sent to speak what You tell us to speak. Let us not forsake our calling because we feel unqualified. May our heart desires to do Your will we pray in Jesus' name, amen.
