Genesis 41:56-57

Genesis 41:56–57 (ESV): "56 So when the famine had spread over all the land, Joseph opened all the storehouses and sold to the Egyptians, for the famine was severe in the land of Egypt. 57 Moreover, all the earth came to Egypt to Joseph to buy grain, because the famine was severe over all the earth."

We all have a destiny to fulfill. From before the foundation of the world God created good works for us to walk in.Don't settle for some cheap imitation! When the opportunity arises step into your fate with both feet!

Joseph probably never thought in a million years he was going to become the second most powerful man in Egypt. He had a couple dreams and knew he was destined for greatness but that thought was probably challenged as he sat in jail cell as an innocent man. The opportunity arose when Pharaoh had a two troubling dreams. He summoned all the magicians and the wise men but no one could interpret his dream. Then his chief cupbearer remembered Joseph and told Pharaoh about him.Joseph told Pharaoh his dream was about seven years of abundance in the land followed by seven years of famine. He need to appoint someone to oversee the storage of one-fifth of the produce of the land during the first seven years for the second seven. Joseph became that man!

Perhaps you find yourself wondering, "what is my purpose?" You might feel like your wasting time with trivial stuff but reality is that God is positioning you for a moment when someone will need to hear from Him and you'll become His voice box.Don't miss the opportunities that awaits you by focusing on yourself too much. Bloom where your planted and always be looking for the moment you were created for!

Father we thank You for the places You put us and for the circumstances we face because they refine us and make us more like Your Son. Help us not to become so focused on what You aren't doing and be steadfast in what You are doing. Help us to rise to the occasion when it presents itself for Your glory we pray in Jesus name, amen!
