Deuteronomy 11:24–25 (ESV): "24 Every place on which the sole of your foot treads shall be yours. Your territory shall be from the wilderness to the Lebanon and from the River, the river Euphrates, to the western sea. 25 No one shall be able to stand against you. The Lord your God will lay the fear of you and the dread of you on all the land that you shall tread, as he promised you."
Christians have victory always in the name of Jesus. It might not always look to us to be the case but that is where faith comes in. Trust the Lord and watch Him work on your behalf for if God is for you who can be against you.
Moses was told by God that no one would stand against the Children of Israel in the Promised Land "if" they maintained their allegiance to Him alone, loving God with all their heart, soul, strength and might and walking in His statutes. They were promised a long and prosperous life in the land of Canaan if they were faithful to the Lord. If they weren't they would see the same judgments God poured out on Egypt. This promise was conditional based on their obedience. They would have total victory everywhere they put the sole of their feet so long as they are obedient to the Lord.
Nothing has changed in regards to our victory folks. Our victory is directly connected to our willingness to obey the Lord. Christ has paved the path for us, all we have to do is walk on it. If you are experiencing defeat after defeat it is only because you aren't walking in obedience to the Spirit. The moment you do you will see that God has also give you victory everywhere the sole of your foot touches. Give yourself totally over to the Lord and watch the enemy be defeated!
Father, we thank You for all that You have done for us. We have life and that more abundantly because of You. Help us to realize all that we have in Christ. May we walk in obedience to Your word and realize the victory we have in Jesus name we pray, amen.
