Acts 5:19-21

Acts 5:19–21 (ESV): "19 But during the night an angel of the Lord opened the prison doors and brought them out, and said, 20 "Go and stand in the temple and speak to the people all the words of this Life." 21 And when they heard this, they entered the temple at daybreak and began to teach."

When God is for you, who can be against you? Genuine followers of Jesus have the God of the universe on their side. No foe can stand against them for God will stand up for them. He lifts a standard against the enemy that cannot be overcome.

Peter and John continued to go to the Temple and teach in Solomon's Portico. They performed many signs and wonders to authenticate their witness. More than ever believers were being added to the church. When the Pharisees heard about this they arrested them and put the Apostles in prison. That evening an angel appeared to them releasing and instructing them to go back to the Temple and preach Jesus. So early the next morning they did as they were instructed and preached the words of life.

What enemy in your life can stand against the Lord? Why are you worried about what man can do to you? Jesus said, "do not fear those who can kill the body but not the soul. Rather fear Him who can destroy both the body and the soul in hell." It's time believers started living fearlessly like we believe God is on our side. That doesn't mean walking outside His will but boldly in His will. Listen intently to the Spirit and walk in boldness when He instructs you to speak or act. Refuse to be silenced at all cost for we have the words of life. Speak them as instructed, amen?

Father, we praise You for being for us and with us. May we fear nothing in this world but You. Remove the doubt that hinders us from boldly proclaiming the words of life we pray in Jesus' name, amen!
