Acts 3:3-7

Acts 3:3–7 (ESV): . "4 And Peter directed his gaze at him, as did John, and said, "Look at us." 5 And he fixed his attention on them, expecting to receive something from them. 6 But Peter said, "I have no silver and gold, but what I do have I give to you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk!" 7 And he took him by the right hand and raised him up, and immediately his feet and ankles were made strong."

Relationships are everything.  It's never what you know or what you have that matters.  It's all about who you know!

Peter and John were on their way to the Temple on particular afternoon and they came across a crippled man who always sat at the entrance of the Beautiful Gate.  They must have passed this fella countless times and probably gave him some money from time to time but today was different.  Peter and John had no money to givebut they had something far better, a relationship with Jesus.  Through Him they could ask for anything and have it.  Peter, bold in his faith, asks Jesus to heal this man and He does!

I wonder how many times you have passed by that same ‘ole problem or circumstance and never had any hope of overcoming it.  You're only through is survival.I believe God wants more for you.  He wants you to thrive and through Christ we can do all things, including conquering the impossible.  It's not in what you know or what you have but who you know. Jesus said come to me, ask, cast your cares upon Me.  Believe and it is yours.  Look at your circumstance and proclaim the name of Jesus over them.  Everything cowers at His name!  Proclaim it, believe it and receive it.

Father we thank You for the mighty name of Jesus that reconciles us, grants forgiveness and makes impossible things possible. Help us to believe for all things through Him. Increase our trust and belief today.  May we look our problems in the face today and claim victory in Jesus name, amen!
